The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (FUMC) of the Federal University of Islamabad (FUI), Islamabad has released its merit list for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd phases of Evening Morning session. The merit list is available online at www.fuic.fui.edu.pk. The FUMC has announced a total of 746 candidates as the winners of the 1st phase, 704 candidates as the winners of the 2nd phase, and 689 candidates as the winners of the 3rd phase. The FUI offers admission to qualified students in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels through its merit-based system.

The FUMC conducts an entrance examination for all categories of students every year in order to select those who are best equipped to meet the challenges of medical education in Pakistan. Candidates must score at least 45% in each subject in Class 10th and obtain a minimum aggregate grade point average (GPA) of 4 out of 5 for general category candidates and 6 out of 7 for special category candidates to be eligible for admission to any undergraduate course at FUI. For postgraduate courses, minimum GPA requirements are 3 out 5 for general category candidates and 4 out 5 for special category candidates.
