The National Testing Service (NTS) has released the result of the admission test for the Spring semester of 2023. The merit list has been released and the students can check their results online at www.nts.org.pk. The test was held on January 12, 2019. According to the NTS website, a total of 6,976 students had taken the test and 2,641 students had obtained a pass mark.
The cutoff mark for securing a place in the undergraduate program is 35%. The majority (70%) of the students who took the test are from Punjab province. The top 10 provinces according to the number of students who had taken the test are: Punjab (2,641), Sindh (1,424), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (1,024), Balochistan (814), Islamabad Capital Territory (582), Federal Capital Territory (330), Gilgit-Baltistan (269), Kashmir (187), and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (163). Those who have obtained a pass mark will be eligible to appear in an admission test for the Fall semester of 2023.
