General Eligibility Criteria For QAU Admission
The candidate must have earned a an equivalent bachelor degree or degree in the second division (i.e 45 percent marks) from an HEC recognised university.
candidates must have taken the necessary courses to be admitted to a specific Master Program. The required courses for each subject was provided in the prospectus. This will be included with the application forms.
The applicant’s age should not exceed twenty-six years old. However, VC is able to allow age relaxation in certain situations based on the advice of department heads. For the programs of MPA or BBS no age relaxation is given in any circumstance. BBS equals four years of BBA which means that students who have BBS can be admitted to MBA (1 1 1/2).
For certain programs, entrance tests are required for certain programs. A list of these programs along with their schedule has been provided below. Candidates must present their original CNIC and admission form confirmation when they take the entrance test for verification purposes. The entrance test will be used solely for shortlisting purposes. The result of the test will not impact the merits.
Admission Requirements of QAU
- To be considered for any Undergraduate degree at Quaid-e-Azam University, you must be able to score at least 50 percent marks in your A-Level or Intermediate scores.
- For a Science or Mathematics diploma you must have completed Pre-medical or Pre-engineering at the intermediate or Advanced.
- To be considered for an MPhil degree in Quaid-e-Azam University, you must be able to score a minimum of 60% marks on the Bachelor’s program.
- To be eligible for an application for any Doctoral (Ph.D.) level program at Quaid-e-Azam University, you must have attained a minimum 3.0 CGPA in a Postgraduate degree or 1st division.
How To Apply for QAU Admission 2023
Candidates who believe they have the potential to be admitted to QAU can apply for admission using easy steps. You must visit the admission office to obtain the application form and pay costs for the prospectus or download the admission application form online via the official website, however they need to pay an admission fee of 2500 rupees in favour of QAU. After filling out the admission form, return the completed form in the entrance office.

- It is advised that applicants make deposits of Rs.2115/- at the branch or branches of Habib Bank Ltd. OR Rs.2100/- at the branches from Askari Bank Ltd. in the name of the Treasurer Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
- The Bank Challan should be attached to the online admission data summary Sheet as well as other necessary documents. If not the application won’t be considered.
