According to UHS spokespersons, December 12th is the deadline for online applications. Candidates who scored 60 points or more in Higher Secondary School Certificate exam or equivalent exam will be eligible for application.
UHS MBBS/BDS Eligibility Criteria
These are the criteria for UHS MBBS admissions and BDS admissions
- The applicant has successfully passed F.Sc./HSSC Pre-Medical or an equivalent examination in Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics, and received a minimum of 60% in each subject.
- A domicile certificate must be obtained from any district of Punjab.
- Only candidates who are residents of Islamabad (ICT), can apply for open merit positions.
- For admission to MBBS, candidates must score at most 55 percent (i.e. 110 out 200) on the MDCAT-2023 and 45 percent (90 of 200) for the BDS program.
- A repeat candidate who has passed the MDCAT-2021 exam with a score above 65% can use that result.

The domicile of Punjab is required for admission. Candidates who have a residence in Islamabad may apply for admission to open merit seats in Punjab. Admission to MBBS or BDS programs requires that you score at least 55 pc in the medical college admission test (MDCAT), and 45 pc respectively. For merit calculation, the weightage criterion is matriculation 10, HSSC 40, and MDCAT 50 pc. Candidates will need to pay a Rs1000 processing fee with their applications. This can be deposited at any Bank of Punjab branch. From December 10-13, UHS will host a Hafiz-e-Quran Test as well as the Medical Board for students who have disabilities.
